Teresa Sierra received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 1989. She undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Colorado at Boulder in ferroelectric liquid crystals for NLO with Professor D.M. Walba. In 1992, she joined the Institute of Materials Science of Aragon (University of Zaragoza-CSIC) where she is now developing her research as a Scientific Researcher. Her research interest has been mainly focused on liquid crystals, and, especially, in the design and control of chiral supramolecular organizations based on non-covalent interactions. Currently, she is also involved in Biomedicine projects focusing on new dendrimeric systems for therapeutics.
