Ma. Sofia Navarrete burgos obtained a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Universidad de los Andes (VE). After completing her undergraduate studies, she moved to Granada, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies (KHEMIA) at Universidad de Granada, working on the isolation, purification, and characterization of proteins. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Organic Chemistry at Universidad de Zaragoza under the supervision of Dr. Jesús del Barrio and Dr. Silvia Hernández. Her research focuses on the study of stimuli-responsive dynamic covalent hydrogels for drug encapsulation and controlled drug release applications.
