Alejandro Postigo received his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of Zaragoza in 2018 (Spain) and his master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Zaragoza in 2019. During his degree’s and master’s thesis he worked on the development of DNA nanostructures for cancer therapy under the supervision of Dra. S. Hernández-Ainsa and Dr. J. del Barrio at the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragón (INMA), University of Zaragoza-CSIC. In 2020 he started his PhD studies with the objective of getting deeper on DNA nanotechnology field, with applications in cancer therapy, heart diseases, structural biology, biomedicine, among others. He defended his PhD thesis in 2025 under the supervision of Dr. S. Hernández-Ainsa and Dr. J. del Barrio, and he is currently a postdoctoral researcher.
